Today, fourth graders invited in the "esteemed eighth graders," to their Loyalist and Patriot Debate. The eighth graders heard 3 arguments and 3 counter-arguments. The fourth graders were assessed on their arguments and counter arguments, their teamwork, and their sportsmanship. Some of the eighth graders added their own ideas for arguments. It was a wonderful learning experience. We are grateful to Morah Joanne (social studies teacher) and the eighth grade for making the time to visit with us and to teach us.
