Heritage Fair Reflections

Dear Parents,

We just wanted to share some excerpts from your children's journals as they reflected and wrote about the Heritage Fair.

"Every heirloom had a different story- you would think it's a simple item but it's not- it usually has a great story behind it."

"The best part of the Heritage Fair, from my point of view, was that we didn't have to wear uniforms."

"I will always remember that day and the heirlooms and crocheting and the snacks were awesome."

""The best part was bringing in my heirloom."

"I liked the dances."

"I also enjoyed telling people about my heirloom."

"My parents and grandparents really enjoyed it and so did I."

"We did many fun stuff like singing many songs and the dance."

"People came and looked at our heirlooms-some were older than others."

"I brought in an 144 year old siddur. "

"I LOVED the cookies!"

"My heirloom was spoons- a lot of people liked them."

"I liked the Heritage Fair because the cupcakes and brownies were good!"

"I really enjoyed the dancing but my favorite part was the snacks-I just love eating."

"My favorite part was when Morah Michal's mom came and talked to us and showed us how to finger crochet."

"I loved going around and looking at all of the heirlooms."

"I liked that all of the parents came to watch."

"My favorite part was when we got to stand behind our heirlooms and all of the parents and grandparents went around to see them."

"My favorite part was wearing the costumes and dancing."

"It was very hard to learn the dances because the teachers kept adding parts."

"The Heritage Fair was fun and was a big highlight of my year."

Wishing you all a Chag Purim Samech,

Morah Michal and Morah Leah
