Professor Nava Silton and Real Abilities

We had an amazing experience this morning speaking with Nava Silton (sister of Morah Michal), a professor at Marymount Manhattan College.  Nava teaches Developmental Psychology and has created a comic book series as well as  a TV series using characters with various disabilities. Throughout the week, students read the comic books. Today, we discussed characters, themes, and lessons we learned from the books.  It was a very deep and sophisticated discussion.  Nava and all of the teachers were both impressed and proud of the insights of the children.
